Job summary

Giesecke+Devrient ePayments Canada Inc. is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment readiness and reliability on a day shift.

You will assist the department lead in maintaining production equipment to meet SLA and safety standards, while performing repairs, changeovers, and parts sourcing. Ideal candidates have an electrical engineering background with 2+ years’ experience in maintenance of production equipment, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a secure

Qualifications

• Electrical degree or similar background.
• 2+ years of experience with production equipment maintenance/repair.
• Ability to read and interpret documents/drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in a collaborative setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machinery readiness and uptime to the required standard.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical components.
• Source and manage spare parts and inventory as needed.
• Follow SLA, OH&S, and environmental guidelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and set up changes as required.
