Job summary

Specialty Building Products (SBP) is seeking a Lift Truck Operator for our Calgary Distribution Center. You will operate forklifts, use WMS/RF systems, and support warehouse activities to ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries.

The role requires 1+ year warehouse experience, basic math, and computer literacy. Shift: days, 7:00 am–3:30 pm. In-person at 1 High Plains Trail, Rocky View, AB. SBP offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year warehouse distribution experience.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet movers and other material handling equipment.
• Lift truck certification an asset.
• Must be computer literate, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Basic math and analytical skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down or stand-up forklift to move parts.
• Use RF units and WMS to pick, put away and load products.
• Receive parts and scan into inventory using WMS.
• Prepare paperwork for distribution and shipping.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and inventory control.
• Relocate items within the warehouse and wrap orders for delivery.
