You will craft web clients for remote data access, and develop robust front-end interfaces while interfacing with customers on future projects. The role demands 5+ years of programming and database development, a bachelor’s degree in CS, and security clearance eligibility.
About the role Weir Marine Engineering currently has a challenging opportunity for a Database Application Developer. This permanent position is based at the Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE) in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Since 1953, Weir has operated and managed the Naval Engineering Test Establishment (NETE), a Department of National Defence (DND) facility located in LaSalle with operations in Halifax, Lévis, Victoria and Ottawa/Gatineau. Over 460 personnel are currently employed by Weir at NETE, supporting the Royal Canadian Navy and DND with test and evaluation services in a wide variety of technical areas.
