Add impact INC. in Woodbridge, Ontario is seeking a Database Analyst to join our IT team. The role is permanent, full-time with day and morning shifts, offering $44.00 hourly for 35 hours per week.

The successful candidate will collect data to identify IT infrastructure improvements, design deployment blueprints for databases, develop and maintain computer databases, and document customer requirements. Strong English communication and collaboration with staff are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer systems analysis/analyst or computer science.
• 1–2 years of related experience in the field.

• The candidate must collect data to identify areas for improvement in an organization’s IT infrastructure.
• The candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategic blueprint to follow when deploying databases within their organization.
• The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining computer databases.
• The candidate will be responsible for documenting the project requirements of customers.
• The candidate must document reporting requirements, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals.
• The candidate must communicate with staff regarding data requirements, collection, and availability.
• The candidate will be responsible for setting up the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases.
• The candidate will be responsible for testing data models and database management systems.
• The candidate must operate database management systems to analyze data.
• The candidate will be responsible for researching and documenting data requirements, datacollection and administration policies, and data access rules.
• The candidate will be responsible for developing policies and procedures for network access and usage, as well as data backup and recovery.
• The candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating teams of data administrators as they develop and implement data policies, standards, and models.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer systems analysis/analyst and computer science.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
