iA Financial Group in Quebec is seeking a Data Solutions Architecture Advisor to define and evolve the data architecture for its Pricing, New Business, and Claims ecosystem. You will translate regulatory and business needs into architecture models and ensure governance, security, and compliance across analytical and operational environments.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written).
• 7+ years of relevant experience in data and information technology.
• Experience in data architecture, data-centric solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• Strong understanding of data governance practices and modern analytics architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target data architecture ecosystem across pricing, new business, and claims.
• Develop transformation roadmaps guiding evolution from current to target architecture.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, and patterns for analytical and operational environments.
• Guide data modeling across business, conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Drive data integration and interoperability strategies including APIs and real-time data exchanges.
• Define data governance requirements related to quality, metadata, lineage, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate security, privacy, and compliance into solution designs from inception.
• Assess solution and platform options and contribute to architecture reviews with strategic recommendations.
• Serve as trusted data architecture advisor to stakeholders supporting analytics and AI initiatives.

• Define and evolve the target data architecture ecosystem, including capabilities, models, data flows, and technology platforms.
• Develop transformation roadmaps to guide the evolution from the current environment to the target architecture.
• Establish and maintain architecture principles, standards, and patterns applicable to both analytical and operational environments.
• Guide data modeling activities to ensure consistency across business, conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Drive data integration and interoperability strategies, including APIs, event-driven architectures, batch processing, and real-time data exchanges.
• Define data governance requirements related to data quality, metadata, lineage, traceability, and lifecycle management.
• Integrate security, privacy, and compliance requirements into solution designs from inception.
• Assess solution and platform options, and contribute to architecture reviews by providing strategic recommendations.
• Serve as a trusted data architecture advisor to stakeholders while supporting analytics and artificial intelligence initiatives through strong data management practices.

• Demonstrates rigor in the documentation, governance, and application of architectural principles;
• Has an advanced level of proficiency in both French and English, as the role requires daily verbal and written collaboration with English-speaking partners, teams, and stakeholders.
