Job summary

Lyft is seeking a Data Scientist for the Airports team in Toronto, focusing on airport marketplaces and cross-functional product enhancements. Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
• 4–6+ years of industry experience in a data science or analytics role
• End-to-end data work including querying, aggregation, analysis, and visualization
• Experience with experimentation and measurement
• Ability to manage, influence, and inspire in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication skills to present to technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Define and implement decision frameworks, measurement strategies, and scientific methodologies
• Design and analyze experiments with cross-functional teams; communicate findings
• Analyze signals in large datasets to identify patterns and opportunities for growth
• Understand Airports business dynamics to propose Lyft-wide product enhancements
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
• Establish metrics to measure product, business, rider and driver health
