Job summary

HUB International seeks a Data Scientist to be the technical engine of a lean analytics function in Canada West. You will turn cross‑brand data into measurable business value via predictive models, self‑serve analytics, and AI‑powered tools that influence branch and leadership decisions.

You’ll blend data science fundamentals with AI engineering, building production prompts, integrating LLMs with BI, and delivering executive‑ready dashboards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science, analytics engineering, or related role.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Statistics, Mathematics, CS, DS, Eng, or equivalent.
• Experience in regulated industries like insurance/finance is a strong asset.
• Generalist problem solver who can handle ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver analytics and ML solutions across sales, retention, finance, operations, and talent.
• Translate business questions into structured analytical problems; communicate results to executives.
• Build and maintain AI-enabled analytics, including prompts, workflows, and BI integration.
