Alsinova is regularly seeking Data Scientist Consultants to join our consulting team for client projects (ranging from big pharma to small biotech) based in Belgium.

Your Mission (should You Decide To Accept It)

Your responsibilities will vary depending on client priorities. Here are some typical activities:

• Utilize advanced analytics technologies, including machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Gather and analyze data using various analytics and reporting tools to identify patterns, trends, and relationships.
• Apply statistical methods to solve analytical problems.
• Develop custom hardware and software systems internally and with external partners.
• Engage in projects across therapeutic areas such as neuroscience, oncology, genomics, and more.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement specific equipment, tools, and systems.
• Provide documentation and procedures to stakeholders.
• Plan activities and manage projects, including cost reporting.

About You

• Engineering, biology, or data science degree.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a data scientist, computer scientist, or software/database programmer.

Knowledge Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Programming skills in C, MATLAB, R, Python, and visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau.
• Signal processing expertise.
• Strong understanding of statistics and algorithms.
• Knowledge of AI, machine learning, deep learning, and big data.
• Database experience with SQL and Oracle.
• Fluent in English and French.
