As a Pythian Data Scientist, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling to deliver insights and build predictive models. You will work on internal IP development and client projects, applying various techniques to solve complex business problems, including fine-tuning pre-trained models like Large Language Models (LLMs).

What will you be doing?

1. Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.
2. Develop and implement machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised techniques.
3. Fine-tune and adapt pre-trained models (e.g., LLMs) for specific use cases.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions.
5. Build predictive models and algorithms for business challenges.
6. Communicate results effectively through visualizations and reports.
7. Stay current with developments in data science, ML, and AI, focusing on practical applications of pre-trained models.
8. Develop and maintain internal IP around analytics, model development, and AI tools.

What do we need from you?

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; Ph.D. is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in data science or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python or R and experience with data science libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Hands-on experience with pre-trained models like LLMs or deep learning frameworks.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, ML algorithms, and data visualization.
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills to translate data findings into insights.
• Client-facing or consulting experience is a plus.
