Clearance Needed: TS/SCI

Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge of the US military’s use of big data? Do you have experience building curriculum and training in computer science, data literacy, and analytic techniques? Parsons is hiring a Data Science Training Specialist to support our US INDOPACOM customer, working on a critical mission alongside seasoned professionals.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and meet objectives supporting strategic initiatives.
2. Develop curriculum, manage training schedules, and instruct course material, identifying strengths and weaknesses in training content.
3. Provide subject matter expertise to address data literacy deficiencies and implement innovative solutions.
4. Explain complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
5. Educate and mentor users on how to interpret data effectively, enabling independent insights and decision-making.
6. Work independently to solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
7. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in a multi-skilled team environment on data automation.
• Proficiency in Python, with experience handling structured and unstructured data and automating data processing tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.

Security Clearance: Active Top Secret SCI clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military experience supporting US INDOPACOM activities.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
• Previous instruction or training experience.
