Job summary

Apple Inc. in Toronto is seeking a Data Science & Analytics student co-op to support Sales analytics, reporting and data tooling across Finance, Operations and Leadership.

You will own end-to-end deliverables, from data pipelines to dashboards, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive actionable insights. This 8‑month co-op (January–August 2027) offers mentorship, hands-on projects, and exposure to production systems, AI/LLM workflows, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in CS, DS, or related field, returning to studies after position’s term.
• Proficient in Python and data libraries (pandas, NumPy).
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL and Snowflake or equivalent.
• Experience building end-to-end data pipelines or apps via coursework or internships.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Foundational knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and LLM limitations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to collaborate across teams.
• Able to juggle multiple tasks independently.

Responsibilities

• Support data insights, reporting, analytics, and tools for sales partners.
• Work end-to-end on data pipelines and AI-enabled workflows.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Ops and Leadership.
• Develop Tableau dashboards and prepared datasets.
• Contribute to data governance and metadata efforts.
• Document code and present milestones to stakeholders.
