Foresters Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer Co-op Student (AI) for a 4-month contract in Toronto.

You will join the AI & Enterprise Applications team to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions and AI-powered applications, gaining hands-on experience with enterprise systems and modern AI tooling. The role involves training ML models, data preparation, and collaboration with architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, .NET, Java, or similar languages.
• Knowledge of ML concepts and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design, development, testing, and deployment of software applications and AI solutions.
• Develop, train, and evaluate ML and generative AI models.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on proofs-of-concept and prototypes.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in Agile ceremonies.
