Job Description

We’re looking for a bilingual Alphacam Sales Specialist to lead the growth of Alphacam across Canada. This is a pure sales role focused on building pipeline, closing deals, and reaching ambitious sales targets. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver compelling demos, develop targeted sales and marketing assets, and actively represent Planit Canada at industry events.

You’ll be the go-to Alphacam sales lead—responsible for crafting strategies, engaging prospects, and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with both prospects and existing clients.
  • Drive sales growth by identifying new opportunities, qualifying leads, and managing a full sales cycle—from initial outreach to signed contracts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to plan and deliver impactful software demonstrations (virtual and in-person).
  • Develop and refine sales and marketing materials to support campaigns, presentations, and product positioning.
  • Prepare and present proposals and quotes, working alongside the team to ensure follow-ups and deal closure.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts in alignment with client needs and business goals.
  • Represent Planit Canada at industry events, trade shows, and webinars.
  • Track sales activities, leads, and client interactions in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate across departments—including sales, marketing, and support—to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience.
  • Meet or exceed an assigned sales quota.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitive positioning, and new software capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with CAM software and CNC machining processes.
  • Background in wood, metal, or stone manufacturing industries.
  • Confident communicator with experience in client-facing roles (sales support, demos, consulting, etc.).
  • Ability to present technical solutions in a clear, engaging manner.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across Canada (up to 5 days per month)

Nice to Have

  • Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Alphacam software.
  • Experience delivering webinars or presenting at industry events.
  • Experience with automation solutions and post-processor customization.
  • Knowledge of other CAD / CAM software.
  • Previous experience in a sales or technical consulting role.
