Senior Data Quality Analyst, Contract position

Number of openings - 1, 6-month contract

Work Location: Montreal, QC, or Toronto, ON

Must be eligible to work in Canada

Hybrid position, 2-3 days/week onsite in Toronto or Montreal

7 hours/day billing, no exceptions. Bilingual French/English preferred for Montreal; unilingual English for Toronto.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Analyze, define, and translate functional and technical specifications into test requirements.
2. Generate metrics to demonstrate data quality and the effectiveness of Data Ingestion pipelines.
3. Design and develop automated and manual test cases for ingestion pipelines.
4. Collaborate with the Product Owner and development team to prioritize test stories.
5. Attend Agile ceremonies to report test status, communicate issues, and uphold QA standards and schedules.
6. Manage, coordinate, and execute end-to-end testing activities.
7. Mentor team members to improve testing skills, reduce time to production, and increase code quality and test coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Minimum 5+ years in data quality analysis/analytics.
2. Experience in requirement gathering and documentation.
3. Proficiency in QA testing.
4. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
