Job summary

CDCI Research in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Data Project Manager (contract) to coordinate research and data management projects across Canada with a focus on Indigenous history and cultural research. You will build schedules, assign tasks, track deliverables, monitor budgets, and ensure deadlines are met.

Collaborating with a Project Coordinator, you will manage risk, reporting, and stakeholder engagement while upholding Indigenous protocols and cultural safety throughout project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex research or data projects.
• Knowledge of Indigenous issues and cultural safety practices.
• Ability to travel occasionally for stakeholder and team meetings.
• PWGSC security clearance eligible.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee data project plans, including objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Lead teams to meet milestones and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and monitor team capacity.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and progress updates.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and data policies.
