Export Development Canada (EDC) is hiring an Associate Data Platform Administrator in Ottawa. The role focuses on supporting data and analytics platforms, with hands-on tasks in cloud-based environments and a path to grow in data platform engineering.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT, ITSM exposure, and familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Git. The position is permanent with a hybrid workflow that requires in-office presence three days per week by Sep 2026, plus relocation assistance

Qualifications

• Experience with ITSM processes (incident, change, request management).
• Exposure to Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with deployment orchestration and automation tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git).

Responsibilities

• Support design, build, configuration, and operation of cloud-based data and analytics platforms.
• Assist with platform provisioning for analytics, reporting, and data science teams using configuration-as-code.
• Monitor platform health and respond to alerts and issues to minimize disruption.
