Raise is seeking an experienced Data Migration Specialist in Oakville, Ontario. This role involves migrating critical data from legacy systems to modern platforms, requiring strong SQL skills and experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will excel at solving complex data challenges while leveraging AI-assisted tools.

You will work with engineering teams, develop data migration scripts, and ensure accuracy and security of data. The position is hybrid, allowing some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of IT experience in data migration projects.
• Strong experience in migrating data between Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex.
• Proven ability to create migration scripts and validate data.
• Good understanding of secure coding practices and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design data migration activities from legacy systems.
