The ASAP CRN Cloud

The ASAP Collaborative Research Network (CRN) fosters an environment for rapid, free exchange of scientific ideas to spark discoveries in Parkinson’s disease (PD). It is an international, multidisciplinary network of investigators addressing high-priority questions. Teams are funded through grants in partnership with the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF).

The ASAP CRN Cloud, co-developed by DNAstack, provides tools for exploring data down to the individual cell level, facilitating data sharing among over 30 research teams focusing on PD genomics, neuro-immune interactions, and brain-body circuitry.

What You’ll Do

As Data Manager, you will oversee data platforming onto the ASAP CRN Cloud, managing the data acceptance phase of data releases. Reporting to the Director of Partners and Programs and working with the Senior Program Manager, you will support and prepare researchers to connect their data to the platform. You will build and maintain relationships with external research teams and serve as the main contact during data curation and preparation.

You will coordinate with internal teams across project management and bioinformatics, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth execution. You will also communicate progress to external partners, facilitate discussions, and support decision-making. Your role includes tracking timelines, reporting progress, and managing risks, embedding best practices in data management.
