Qualifications

Enrolled in Computer Science or a related program.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Foundational knowledge of programming concepts and languages.
Hands-on experience with structured relational databases and SQL; Oracle databases experience is preferred.
Exposure to Hive, Snowflake, Python, R, SAS, basic Linux commands, Databricks, IBM Knowledge Catalog.

Responsibilities

Promote and support data governance and data management standards across the organization.
Assess the current data environment to identify improvement opportunities.
Proactively monitor data, metadata, and reference data; support data stewardship for data quality.
Maintain data models and artefacts including glossaries, catalogues, mappings, and data lineage.
Support data integration by liaising between IT, data owners, and subject matter experts; perform data profiling as required.
Maintain clear communication with data stakeholders across the data lifecycle.
