Job summary

CBC/Radio-Canada in Montreal seeks a Senior Specialist, Enterprise Data Governance (T&I) to lead the adoption of the enterprise data governance framework across the organization. The role bridges the central Data Governance Office, domain data teams, and business stakeholders to ensure policies and data quality programs are implemented and tracked.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, computer science, or quantitative discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with data governance tools and platforms (Collibra, Microsoft, Databricks, Informatica) and familiarity with SQL and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and rollout the enterprise data governance program, including policies and the data catalog.
• Manage artifacts and reports of the data governance office.
• Drive adoption of data governance roles framework across domains and coordinate cross-domain groups.
• Provide tools, templates, and guidance to data officers, stewards, and custodians.
• Facilitate cross-domain communications and track progress of milestones.
• Organize meetings and workshops; document actions and follow up.
• Develop executive briefing materials and present to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date data governance documentation and standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and BI to develop dashboards and metrics.
