Job summary

Aviso is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Governance Implementation to lead the governance program within the Technology Partners team. You will translate governance vision into actionable strategies, shaping the Future of Data Governance at Aviso while ensuring compliance and responsible innovation.

You will collaborate with Data, Analytics, and technology groups to implement comprehensive governance, metadata management, and data cataloging, enabling trusted insights for clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field.
• Advanced certifications in data governance or privacy preferred.
• 8+ years in data governance/data management; includes leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalize the data governance framework.
• Champion ethical data use and privacy across initiatives.
• Partner with business, data, and technology teams to embed governance.
• Enable AI governance and responsible AI initiatives.
• Lead change management and drive adoption of governance practices.
• Define roles for data stewardship and accountability.
• Develop implementation roadmaps and scale governance tools.
• Monitor KPIs and report progress to leadership.
• Stay ahead on regulatory requirements and best practices.
