Job summary

Intertek Testing Services NA Ltd. in Coquitlam, BC seeks a Data Entry Analyst (Administrator) to support the Lab Manager and Construction Services. You will enter and maintain testing data for concrete, asphalt, soil, grout, and related reports, and assist with project files and service records.

The role requires a background in data analysis, strong communication, and a diligent work ethic. Familiarity with QA/QC standards and Microsoft Office is a plus; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Accounting background preferred or equivalent technical experience.
• 1-3 years of data entry or data analysis experience.
• Familiar with civil engineering QA/QC inspection and test standards to ASTM/CSA.

Responsibilities

• Enter, track, and maintain construction materials testing data and laboratory reports (concrete, asphalt, soil compaction, grout).
• Coordinate and maintain work orders, project files, and service records.
• Maintain laboratory equipment calibration records and assist with calibration status documentation.
• Develop knowledge of testing procedures, quality documentation, and client service requirements.

Data Entry Analyst (Administrator) - Coquitlam, BC (Healthcare)

By delegation from the Lab Manager, Construction Services, the Data Entry Analyst (Administrator) is responsible for providing effective and competent support to Intertek Testing Services NA Ltd. in a safe, legal, and ethical manner.

• This position will appeal to a self-motivated individual with a strong background in data analysis, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a solid work ethic, coupled with an interest in career growth.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately enter, track, and maintain construction materials testing data and laboratory reports, including concrete, asphalt, soil compaction, grout, and other related testing services.
• Coordinate and maintain work orders, project files, and service records to support the efficient tracking and delivery of construction materials testing services.
• Maintain laboratory equipment calibration records and assist with tracking calibration status and documentation.
• Develop working knowledge of construction materials testing procedures, quality documentation, project workflows, and client service requirements.
• Carrying out all responsibilities in a supportive manner with total adherence to: The Company's Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures, Quality Management System, Compliance and Ethics Policies, Vision, Mission and Strategy, and exercises good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Accounting Background Diploma is preferred or, alternatively, equivalent technical experience.
• 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in data entry, data analysis, or a related field.
• Familiar with civil engineering construction QA/QC inspection and test standards and procedures to ASTM and CSA standards.

CORE COMPETENCIES

• Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written format.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Effective business writing and composition skills with a good command of the English language.
• Ability to complete tasks.
• Familiarity with data management systems (e.g., QESTLab or similar) is an asset.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
• Microsoft Office software knowledge.

Salary & Benefits Information

The hourly range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00 per hour. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
