Job summary

Yoush Consulting seeks an experienced Infrastructure & Security Lead for Data Centre Operations to provide strategic leadership for corporate data centre facilities, ensuring high availability and security across enterprise platforms.

The role oversees governance of servers, storage, networks, and virtualization, coordinates with security teams, and manages vendor SLAs while aligning IT services with business priorities in a dynamic, partner-driven consulting environment.

Qualifications

• University Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Technology or related discipline.
• 3+ years of Data Centre Leadership responsibilities.
• Experience with Windows (Windows 10, Server 2012/2016) and Linux.
• Extensive SAN experience.
• Experience with datacentre hardware and virtualization.
• Experience with email technologies and Office 365 (hybrid cloud).
• Knowledge of ITIL and project management principles.
• Strong networking knowledge (DNS, AD, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP).
• Security technologies: firewalls, IDS/IPS, anti-virus.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT resources allocations aligned with business priorities.
• Develop monitoring and response metrics for high availability 24/7.
• Define policies for network architecture, data centres, standards, monitoring, and service delivery.
• Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot databases and enterprise software to meet objectives.
• Review issues and logs, prioritize and resolve.
• Communicate with IS and business leaders on availability and planned outages.
• Collaborate with security specialists on security policies and procedures.
• Develop capacity/resource plans and stay current with best practices.

Infrastructure& Security Lead – Data Centre Operations Lead

Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure andSecurity, the Datacentre Operations Lead, provides the strategicdevelopment and leadership for all aspects of the corporate data centrefacilities, including processes and technologies, and ensuring highavailability. Technical Services in support of the operation of the I/Sdatacentre(s) including enterprise technologies andapplications, databases, servers, storage systems, operating systems,backup/disaster systems , printing systems and cloud datacentreplatforms.

Provides systems management services to managethe system for optimal performance and capacity, system tuning, development andimplementation of solutions, performance analysis in support of servers,storage or networks, availability management, asset management and securitymanagement.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Manage of IT resourceallocations aligned with business priorities.
• Manages and develop themonitoring and response metrics for a high availability, 24/7.
• Responsible for all keyfunctional policies and procedures, for network architecture, data centers,standards, monitoring, and service provision.
• Manages and leads theconfiguration, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of databases andenterprise software to meet the functional objectives of the business.
• Manages and reviews issuesand problem logs relating to server and datacentre operations, prioritizesoutstanding issues and develops resolution plan.
• Maintains strongcommunications with IS and business leaders on availability and plannedshutdowns.
• Collaborates with securityspecialist and technical architect on the development and implementation ofsecurity policies and procedures
• Develops and managescapacity and resource plans, assessing network
• Stay current with industrybest practices for server and datacentre infrastructures, security requirements.
• Manages vendor servicelevel agreements (SLA) for hardware, software and connectivity in accordancewith the procurement policies

Requirements

• 1. University Degree orCollege Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Technologyor related discipline
• 2. 3+ years of Data Centre Leadership responsibilities
• 4. Extensive experience in client/server and OS, including Windows ( Windows 10,Server 2012/2016 ), and working knowledge of Linux
• 5. Extensive experience with installing, configuring, maintaining and supportingstorage area networks .
• 6. Extensive experience withinstalling, configuring, maintaining and supporting datacentre hardware(servers, blades, tape and virtual libraries, UPS).
• 7. Extensive experience withinstalling, configuring, maintaining and supporting application and hardwarevirtualization.
• 8. Extensive experience inmobile and wireless technologies and architectures.
• 9. Good knowledge of the ITIL standard.
• 10. Knowledge and understandingof project management principles.
• 11. Strong working knowledge ofnetworking systems ( DNS, WINS, Active Directory ),protocols, and standards such as Ethernet, LAN, WAN, VoIP, DSL,TCP/IP, T1, 802.11x and FibreOptics .
• 12. Experience configuring andmaintaining anti-virus software, firewalls,intrusion detection systems and other network security measures.
• 13. Experience with installing,configuring, maintaining and supporting email technologies, and protocols,including Exchange Server, Mobile Device Management, Office 365 ( hybrid Cloud environments ).
