Data Centre Controls Engineer

This role will see you become an integral part of their established Data Centre team. With a focus on full project delivery, this position will see you work across various different stages of the project lifecycle, from initial design to commissioning and handover.

London/South East Area

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support the engineering and delivery of data centre control systems projects, from specification through to handover, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide on-site technical support to clients, addressing any issues with PMS, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, PME, and network systems.
  • Assist the installation and commissioning of power management systems, including PLC, HMI, SCADA, PME, and network components, at client sites.
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to coordinate design intent, project milestones, and integration strategies.

Experience Required

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in servicing and maintaining power management systems, including PLC, SCADA, PME, and networks.
  • Strong understanding of power management systems, including hardware and software components.
  • Proven track record in a field-based engineering role.
  • Bachelor's degree/HNC/ONC or related qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
