As a Fire Alarm Technician, you’ll master diverse proprietary and non-proprietary electronic fire alarm systems and engage in hands-on work, from installation to programming. What You'll Do:

  • Installation & Programming: Install, maintain, repair, program and configure fire alarm systems and equipment at customer sites
  • Testing: Test and inspect fire alarm systems, batteries and electrical wiring
  • Compliance: Ensure work complies with relevant codes including NFPA standards
  • Documentation: Complete inspection and correction reports and maintain required records
  • Customer Service: Convey system operations to customers and respond to emergency service calls
  • Professional Growth: Embrace opportunities to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities

What We’re Looking For:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 4+ years in fire alarm installation
  • 2+ years in fire alarm inspections, maintenance, and/or repairs
  • Understanding of NEC (low voltage) and NFPA 72
  • Familiarity with water-based fire sprinkler systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, utility vaults (confined spaces), above ceilings, etc.
  • Able to work a full-time yet flexible schedule
  • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
  • Background checks will be conducted after a conditional job offer is made. We evaluate criminal history based on its relevance to the job duties.
  • Note: this is a safety sensitive role requiring a clear drug screen including cannabis.

Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000 per year
