Job summary

Reboot Monkey seeks an experienced Data Center Technician for a full-time, on-site role in Waterloo, CA. You will install, configure, and decommission hardware, manage cabling, rack servers, and coordinate with NOC and client teams.

Strong English communication and lifting requirements apply. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in data center or IT infrastructure, knowledge of DCIM, and credentials such as CDCP/CDCS, CCNA, or Network+.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Familiarity with major colocation providers.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on raised floors.
• Professional communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
• Maintain compliance with safety and site procedures.
