Qualifications

  • University student enrolled in a Business, Commerce, IT, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related program and in good academic standing.
  • Winter 2027 Work Term is required.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Platform, or data-focused projects through coursework or co-ops is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curious and detail-oriented with a process improvement mindset.
  • Interest in data analytics, BI and reporting.

The Corporate Human Resources Data Analyst position offers an excellent opportunity to gain data exposure in the field of Human Resources within a large and diversified organization. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment while contributing to meaningful projects that drive business insights.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team focused on HR data analysis, reporting, and visualization that supports strategic workforce decisions.
  • Gain hands-on experience with tools such as SQL, Power BI, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Assist in the development, implementation and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and data products that improve visibility and inform business decision making with key HR metrics.
  • Analyze workforce and operational data to identify trends, generate insights, and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and data quality.
Qualifications

  • Available for the Winter 2027 Work Term.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with SQL, Power BI, Power Platform, or data-focused projects through coursework, co-ops, personal projects, or extracurricular activities is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Curious and detail-oriented with a process improvement mindset.
  • Interest in data analytics, reporting, visualization, and business intelligence.
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
