Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a seasoned data analyst/QA specialist to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specs, and support project delivery across the SDLC. You will design and execute testing, including ETL, data migration, and UAT, using SQL Server, Python, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.

You should have 5-8 years of experience and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, and data teams in an Agile/Scrum environment in Canada.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in data analytics or data engineering.
• Experience reading and translating business requirements into technical specs.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data validation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse business requirements through stakeholder discussions and workshops.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Design and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing.
• Develop test cases, test scenarios, and validation criteria based on business requirements.
• Perform ETL, data migration, reconciliation, and data quality testing.
• Write complex SQL queries for backend data validation and investigate data discrepancies.
