Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a seasoned data analyst/QA specialist to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specs, and support project delivery across the SDLC. You will design and execute testing, including ETL, data migration, and UAT, using SQL Server, Python, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.

You should have 5-8 years of experience and collaborate with stakeholders, developers, QA, and data teams in an Agile/Scrum environment in Canada.

Job Description

Gather and analyse business requirements through stakeholder discussions and workshops. Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Perform process analysis, gap analysis, and requirements documentation to support project delivery. Collaborate with business, development, QA, and data teams throughout the SDLC/STLC. Design and execute functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing. Develop test cases, test scenarios, and validation criteria based on business requirements. Perform ETL, source-to-target, data migration, reconciliation, and data quality testing. Write complex SQL queries using joins, CTEs, subqueries, and aggregations for backend data validation. Investigate data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and validate defect fixes. Track requirements, defects, risks, and action items using Jira and Confluence in Agile/Scrum environments. Work with tools and technologies including SQL Server, Python, Power BI, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks. Communicate project status, findings, risks, and recommendations while supporting effective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 50/hr to CAD 60/hr .
