Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in data analysis, business intelligence (BI), and ETL processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and can transform complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Candidates need to be located within Canada and might speak English.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using modern tools and frameworks.

• Extract, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources.

• Build interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

• Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability.

• Work within cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data storage, processing, and visualization.

• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance.

• Contribute to data governance and the continuous improvement of analytical processes.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.

• Strong proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.

• Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.), AWS (Redshift, Glue, S3), or GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow).

• Deep knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, dbt, etc.).

• Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.).

• Ability to interpret complex data and present insights through effective storytelling and visualization.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with data modeling (relational and dimensional).

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in Agile environments.

• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Google Professional Data Engineer, etc.).
