The opportunity:

The Department of Family Medicine is seeking a Data Analyst, Program Evaluation & Reporting to support evidence-based decision-making, accreditation, workforce planning, and continuous quality improvement across its education and academic programs. The successful candidate will collect, validate, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources, develop dashboards and standardized reports, support program evaluation and accreditation activities, and provide meaningful insights to departmental leadership and committees.

This role will also support data integration and reporting from systems such as Entrada, SurveyMonkey, Cognito Forms, and Excel; conduct audits and longitudinal analyses; track learner outcomes, teaching capacity, and workforce trends; and identify opportunities to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights while working collaboratively with academic and administrative stakeholders.

The qualifications and experience we’re looking for:
  • Undergraduate degree in data analytics, health informatics, statistics, public health, business analytics, or a related discipline required.
  • Master’s degree in a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or program evaluation.
  • Experience in a university, health system, or academic medical environment preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills is required.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel and survey platforms is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is required.
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple datasets and reporting cycles concurrently is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical judgment is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse academic and administrative stakeholders is required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, including managing workload independently, meeting deadlines and collaborating virtually with diverse stakeholders is required.
  • A satisfactory work record, including satisfactory attendance and punctuality, is required.
