## Data Analyst, International TransportationApply: Mississauga, ON: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: October 12, 2026 (16 days left to apply): JR165534**What you’ll do** The Data Analyst, International Transportation is responsible for representing the company and managing the offshore ocean inbound product flow into Canada. The Data Analyst will support their Manager and Team Lead to manage all aspects of Ocean Transport operations including optimization of carrier allocation, forecasting, tracking of minimum quantity commitments (MQCs), analysis of offshore lead times for all lanes, ocean container management, and supporting contract negotiation. They work closely with CTC’s external origin cargo management service provider (Century), ocean carrier service providers for the Asia Pacific and the European trade lanes as well as internal CTC supply chain teams such as Capacity Planning, Offshore Logistics, Vancouver Operations and all Distribution Centers. This is a pivotal role in managing CTC’s offshore volume into North America. * Support the day to day operational relationship with CTC’s origin cargo management service provider.* Support the day to day operational relationship with third party ocean carrier and air freight service providers.* Act as the key contact for ocean operations data for all internal and external stakeholders.* Use Decision Optimization tools (CPLEX) and process for carrier allocation and forecasting.* Analyze port dwell and ocean transit lead times and make recommendations to Capacity Planning to update the Path And Leg (PAL) lead times.* Develop and manage ocean carrier performance reporting metrics against targets, utilizing data analytics for trend identification, problem anticipation, and solution proposal. Concisely communicate insights to team and leadership* Assist in strategic and tactical projects, leveraging data analytics for all project phases. Consistently present concise, data-backed analysis to enable data-informed decision-making. **What you bring*** Strong analytical and decision optimization skills, and comfortable analyzing and turning data into actionable insights (SQL, Power BI, Excel, VBA, , Visio, Access, CPLEX)* Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to take charge and address ambiguous and uncertain operational issues while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.* Ability to work in a self-directed manner and with cross-functional teams.* Experience negotiating with and managing 3rd party service providers/vendors.* 2 years of experience relevant to operations planning and logistics.* Post secondary education in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.* Familiarity with internal CTC systems and supply chain processes is an asset.
