Data Analyst (Co-op)

Preferred Co-op Term: 4 months (Starting September 2025)

Location: Mississauga, ON or Burnaby, BC

Maple Reinders Constructors is currently seeking a Data Analyst (Co-op Student) to join our operations team.

As a Data Analyst (Co-op Student) in our operations division, you will have the opportunity to mine and analyze construction project and financial reporting data stored in various spreadsheets, identify trends, issues, and opportunities to improve effectiveness & efficiency. Maple Reinders is a growing organization, continually winning new work, larger projects, and facing new challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain analytical models to mine large sets of structured and semi-structured data for insights and correlations.
• Apply intellectual curiosity and deep analytical thinking to analyze large data sets.
• Develop analyses to illustrate business trends and identify opportunities.
• Summarize data findings and prepare reports for management decision-making.
• Engage stakeholders to understand informational needs and develop analytics solutions.

Qualifications:

• Full-time student enrolled in a related post-secondary program.
• Recent graduate of a University Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, database management, and data manipulation/reporting.

Additional Information:

• Travel may be required on a case-by-case basis.

Pay Rate: $21-$26/hour, based on education and experience.
