Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. in Montreal is seeking a Data Analyst to drive strategic BI projects, develop reports, dashboards and ad hoc analyses, and continually improve our data environment.

You will guide multiple business units and translate data into actionable insights. The role requires strong statistics, data visualization skills, SQL and Python, and the ability to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, analytics, statistics or business administration, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with at least one business intelligence tool.
• Knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written.
• DevOps and Fabric experience is an asset.
• Experience in the retail industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of data visualizations and analytical dashboards for business units.
• Design and deploy advanced analytical models that transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Lead cross-functional exploratory data analysis projects and identify opportunities to leverage data and generate added value.
• Conduct statistical analyses to address critical business questions and identify emerging trends.
• Support business-unit power users in optimizing and enhancing their Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with the data architecture and IT teams to evolve the BI infrastructure in line with emerging analytical needs.
• Actively contribute to the governance and continuous improvement of the central data model.
• Develop and maintain rigorous technical documentation for data flows, analytical models and deployed methodologies.
• Provide advanced training on data analysis techniques and the optimal use of BI tools to end users and developers.
