Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our growing data analytics & reporting team and help our teams understand and leverage data from across the business. You will be responsible for providing actionable insights to a variety of stakeholders, using your solid foundation in SQL and Python (specifically the Pandas library) to work with data from our data warehouse and other sources.

The Role:

• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data from our data warehouse.
• Utilize Python and the Pandas library to manipulate, clean, and prepare data from various sources for analysis.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions from stakeholders in marketing, sales, product, and operations.
• Build and maintain reports and dashboards (e.g., Power BI or other BI tools) to communicate insights clearly.
• Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Who you are:

• 0-3 year experience in a data-focused role, or through academic coursework and projects.
• Proven experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, including the use of joins, aggregations, and subqueries.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data manipulation, cleaning, and analysis, with a strong focus on the Pandas library.
• A strong aptitude for problem-solving, attention to detail, and a genuine curiosity about data.
• Ability to work with large datasets and translate findings into clear insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with a business intelligence platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) an asset.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes desired.
• Knowledge of an e-commerce or retail business environment an asset.
