Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a diploma or degree program in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to data accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize priorities, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and improve Excel spreadsheets, reports, and structured data tables.
• Collect, organize, validate, and analyze information from multiple business sources.
• Build pivot tables, charts, dashboards, and management reports to support decisions.

We are looking for a curious, motivated, and detail-oriented Data & AI Intern to join our team for a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate who wants practical experience in data analytics, business reporting, dashboard development, and AI-enabled automation. You will work on real business projects and explore tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.

What You’ll Do

• Create, maintain, and improve Excel spreadsheets, reports, and structured data tables.
• Collect, organize, validate, and analyze information from multiple business sources.
• Build pivot tables, charts, dashboards, and management reports that support decision-making.
• Monitor data accuracy and perform regular quality-control checks.
• Turn complex information into clear summaries and presentations for stakeholders.
• Document business processes, reporting procedures, and data workflows.
• Support the adoption of Microsoft Copilot and other AI tools while researching, testing, and implementing opportunities to automate repetitive work.
• Collaborate with team members on special projects and continuous-improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a diploma or degree program in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including tables, structured datasets, pivot tables, charts, formulas, and data-analysis reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to organize priorities, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI tools.
• Basic experience with Power BI, Power Query, or similar data-visualization tools.
• Understanding of data analysis, business reporting, or process automation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Interest in improving business processes through data, technology, and AI.
