iA Financial Group is seeking an Intern - Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Operational Efficiency for Winter 2027 in a hybrid role. You will design, deploy and optimize automation and AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform and Power BI, while collaborating with internal teams to meet business needs.

The role emphasizes independence, creativity, strong analytical skills and advanced French, with opportunities to deliver POCs and AI-enabled improvements across processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy automation and AI solutions using Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps and emerging tech.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations in Power BI for KPIs and improvements.
• Integrate solutions within Microsoft 365 and collaborate with internal teams.
• Create proofs of concept, prototypes or intelligent agents to validate approaches.
• Use AI to reduce low-value tasks and accelerate decision-making.
• Participate in process optimization workshops to identify opportunities.
• Document processes, solutions and benefits for reuse.

As an Intern - Artificial Intelligence, Automation and Operational Efficiency , you will be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

• Design, develop and deploy automation and artificial intelligence solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, Power Apps and other emerging technologies;
• Develop dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to make gains, performance indicators and improvement opportunities visible;
• Participate in the integration of solutions within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and propose innovative solutions;
• Develop proofs of concept (POCs), prototypes or intelligent agents to validate new automation and artificial intelligence approaches;
• Use artificial intelligence to reduce low-value-added tasks, accelerate decision-making and improve the employee experience;
• Participate in process optimization workshops to identify transformation and innovation opportunities;
• Document processes, developed solutions and realized benefits to facilitate their reuse and deployment.

• Is currently pursuing a master's degree in artificial intelligence, computer science, software engineering, analytics, information systems or a related field;
• Must complete a university-credited internship during the Winter 2027 semester;

• Would be considered an asset if they have experience with Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Python, AI agents, process automation or technology prototype development.

The typical hiring range for this position is $27,50 to $30,50 CAD per hour; the base salary offered varies according to years of study and the position status (student or intern).
