Job summary

Canada Life is seeking a Data Access Engineering Specialist to design, build, test and deploy data access management solutions. You will collaborate with the Director of Data Access Management and other teams to implement governance, RBAC/ABAC/PBAC and integrate with data catalog databases and identity services.

The role requires hands-on implementation of data access management products, data governance capabilities, and effective stakeholder communication while maintaining security and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, informatics or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in Data Access Governance.
• Minimum of three years hands-on implementation on Data Access Governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Support design, build, test, deploy and support of data access management solutions.
• Implement and maintain RBAC/ABAC/PBAC with classification and data sensitivity.
• Identify, map and govern data sources across on-prem, cloud and SaaS environments.
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate with data catalog, data lake, SSO and SIEM tools.
• Prepare updates for stakeholders on timelines and progress.
• Participate in testing to ensure proper tool integrations.
