Job summary

The York Dance Academy in Newmarket, Ontario, is expanding and hiring dance teachers in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and yoga. The studio operates 7 days a week from September to June and runs camps and evening classes in July and August.

Ideal candidates will have experience in dance and hold a post-secondary education from a recognized college or university. A vehicle is preferred as studios are not easily accessed by transit.

The York Dance Academy celebrating it’s 40th year in business is growing again. We are currently hiring dance teachers in several disciplines, specifically ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and yoga.

We operate 7 days a week from September to June and run camps and evening classes in July & August. Successful applicants would be teaching both recreational and competitive dancers.

The ideal candidate should have experience in dance and a post-secondary education from a recognized college or university. A vehicle is required as our studios are not easily accessed by public transit.
This position is a contracted position, and salary is based on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
