Job summary

York Dance Academy in Aurora, Canada is hiring dance teachers for ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and yoga. We welcome applicants with a background in dance and post-secondary education from a recognized college or university.

Teaching both recreational and competitive dancers is possible, with classes offered seven days a week from September to June and camps in July and August. The ideal candidate should have dance experience and a post-secondary credential.

Job description

The York Dance Academy celebrating it’s 40th year in business is growing again. We are currently hiring dance teachers in several disciplines, specifically ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and yoga.

We operate 7 days a week from September to June and run camps and evening classes in July & August. Successful applicants would be teaching both recreational and competitive dancers.

The ideal candidate should have experience in dance and a post-secondary education from a recognized college or university. A vehicle is required as our studios are not easily accessed by public transit.
This position is a contracted position, and salary is based on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
