Job Summary

The role at RBC Insurance Advice Centre offers flexibility and fulfillment. As a bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor for Home & Auto, you’ll provide insurance advice and options to clients over the phone. You’ll be empathetic, helpful, and clear, focusing on delivering an exceptional client experience. You will proactively recommend insurance solutions to meet clients’ needs and refer them within the organization.

What will you do?

• Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients through inbound calls
• Ensure a positive client experience and resolve concerns at first contact
• Complete personalized needs assessments using tools and resources
• Understand regulatory risk when underwriting policies
• Use procedures effectively during client conversations
• Maintain relationships with partners to work as a team

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Possession or willingness to obtain the Quebec Damage Insurance certificate and General Insurance License
• Bilingual in English and French
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Flexibility to work shifts during business hours
• Digital literacy with devices such as smartphones and laptops

Nice-to-have

• Post-secondary education
• Knowledge of insurance products
• Customer service or sales experience in a contact center
