Job summary

Lactalis Canada is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the Day shift to lead and coordinate maintenance in a large-scale dairy manufacturing facility. You will oversee day-to-day maintenance tasks, troubleshoot issues, and drive safety and efficiency improvements across production lines.

The role requires 3–5 years as a plant maintenance supervisor, strong leadership, and experience with SAP/CMMS systems. The company offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent trade certification.
• 3–5 years as a plant maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing setting.
• 3 years related experience in Electrical & Controls or Mechanical fields.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems and maintenance budgets.
• Strong leadership and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and scheduling of maintenance activities with production teams.
• Lead safety improvements and ensure compliance with health & safety programs.
• Supervise staff, provide direction and performance feedback; support training.
• Oversee contractor work, ensure compliance with procedures and budget.
• Drive continuous improvement in maintenance costs and plant performance.
