Job summary

Longo is seeking a Manager, Cybersecurity Operations to lead security monitoring, incident triage, and remediation across the organization. You will direct a team of cybersecurity analysts, coordinate with IT, vendors, and external partners to resolve security issues and drive remediation actions.

The role requires 6–8 years in cybersecurity and 1–3 years of leadership experience, with a focus on incident response, vulnerability management, and security service management.

Qualifications

• 6 to 8 years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations.
• 1 to 3 years of experience leading cybersecurity analysts or security teams.
• Experience with security monitoring, incident triage, incident response, vulnerability management, or security operations.
• Experience coordinating with MSSPs, vendors, or external security partners.
• Familiarity with PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001 or similar.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Experience maintaining incident response plans, escalation procedures, and tabletop exercises.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day cybersecurity operations, including monitoring, triage, investigation, and remediation tracking.
• Act as primary internal contact for MSSPs and security vendors, review escalations and reporting.
• Coach and develop cybersecurity analysts; manage performance and career development.
• Ensure comprehensive team coverage and cross-training to reduce dependency on individuals.
• Own and maintain the incident response plan, playbooks, and tabletop exercises.
• Provide security input into technology changes and operational initiatives.
• Support audit, compliance, and third-party security assessment activities.
