Job summary

Signode is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Security Operations team. You will monitor, detect, and respond to cyber threats across the organization, leveraging SIEM/EDR, threat intelligence, and malware analysis.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in security operations, experience with Azure security tools, and knowledge of Microsoft Defender Suite. The role emphasizes proactive threat hunting and collaboration with IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Security+, CySA+, GCIH, GCFA, CEH, SC-200, AZ-500 certifications preferred.
• Microsoft Azure certifications preferred.
• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, or incident response.
• Experience in SOC and/or MSSP environments.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Azure and cloud security technologies.
• Experience analyzing security logs and telemetry from EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, identity platforms, and cloud security tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel, Entra ID, and other Microsoft security solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts and events from SIEM, EDR, ITSM, and other monitoring platforms.
• Respond to and manage security incidents in accordance with incident response procedures.
• Utilize threat intelligence and OSINT resources to enrich investigations and improve threat detection.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting to identify suspicious behavior and emerging threats.
• Analyze cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack trends that may impact the organization.
• Perform malware analysis in controlled sandbox environments to determine threat impact and remediation actions.
• Investigate endpoint, network, and cloud-based security incidents and perform digital forensics as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to contain, remediate, and recover from security incidents.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance detection rules, alerts, and workflows to improve security operations.
• Stay informed on latest threats and best practices; participate in continuous improvement of monitoring and automation.
