Job description

The company, a national IT consulting company, is seeking Cybersecurity professionals with experience in the following. Responsibilities :

  • Reviewing all reported cybersecurity information and incidents submitted by the regulated entities, and will ensure that such entities are at, or in the process of attaining, full alignment and compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
  • Ensuring Critical Infrastructure Protection and industry standards are being upheld in specific areas including, but not limited to, emerging issues, security practices for cyber assets, personnel and training, electronic and physical security perimeters, change management, incident reporting and response plans, configuration change management and information protection.
  • North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) / Provincial Approved Reliability Standards.
  • Creating and implementing security best-practices within proven industry security frameworks (NIST SSDF, OWASP SAMM, BSIMM, etc.).
  • Developing practical recommendations for clients to remediate identified cyber security issues, and communicate these effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Performing stakeholder management, including presentations, status updates, and reports for clients and internal team members / leaders.
  • Performing social engineering / phishing activities such as reconnaissance of targets, developing phishing campaigns (e.g., emails and websites), web hosting administrator, developing malicious phishing payloads, or pivoting through phished systems.
  • Demonstrating in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
  • Candidates should be current on the modern cybersecurity control environment and threat landscape.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline such as business administration, management of information systems, etc.
  • Security-related training / certifications (CISA, CISSP, CISM, CIRSC, CEH) is considered an asset
  • 10 years of experience in IT / OT.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in application and / or system cybersecurity or Critical Infrastructure Protection Information security operations or consulting function
