Job summary

Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 in British Columbia is accepting external applications for a Noon Hour Supervisor. This permanent, part-time position (4 hr/wk) helps ensure the safety of students during lunch, with effective supervision and adherence to school routines.

The successful candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to relate to children, and the capacity to work with district staff. A high school diploma is preferred; first aid is an asset.

Noon Hour Supervisor

Effective September 8, 2026 .

The Noon Hour Supervisor is responsible for the safe supervision of students during lunch.

Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

• Sufficient knowledge of school routines to effectively supervise students.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate to children.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all District staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Desirable Training and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in working with youth is desirable.
• First aid would be an asset.

Rate of pay:

As per Collective Agreement 440

$25.90/hr
