DSV - Global Transport and Logistics is seeking a Customs Specialist in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This full-time position involves set up and release of shipments, tracking incoming shipments, and processing courier shipments.

Job Posting Title: Customs Specialist (Release Agent)

Time Type: Full Time

Compensation: Salary starting at $41,000 per year, plus eligible benefits, in accordance with experience and internal equity

Responsibilities
  • Set up and release of shipments being imported into Canada
  • Track and trace incoming shipments
  • Process courier shipments
  • Identify tasks that require special handling, recommend process improvements, and implement resolutions within assigned scope of responsibility
  • Adhere to all Standard operating Procedures and Policies set in place by the department and organization
  • Provide input and be an active participant at weekly team briefings
Quality, Health & Safety
  • Supports organizational commitment to ISO 9001, ISO 45001 certification – Montreal location
  • Perform assigned tasks to support DSV meets its objectives and targets regarding quality, health, safety and environment and follow all requirements as set out in the DSV Quality Health Safety Environment policy.
  • Staff are required to ensure that their day-to-day activities embrace sustainability, Health and safety therefore reducing the impact upon the environment, supporting the communities we work in and reducing incidents in the workplace.
Qualifications
