Job summary

SPAR Wimbourne is recruiting a Customer Team Member to support the store team and deliver friendly, efficient service across shifts. You will handle tills, assist customers, stock shelves, and help with promotions in a busy convenience store.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Understanding of retail legislation and policy adherence.
• Team player with ability to work independently.
• Experience with cash handling is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with 'Challenge 25' policy desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly service.
• Answer product inquiries and help locate items.
• Process purchases at tills accurately.
• Upsell products and highlight multi-buy offers.
• Manage stock, deliveries, shelf stocking and store cleanliness.
• Complete additional tasks such as date checking and price changes.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
