Job summary

LendCare, part of the goeasy family, is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Ontario. You will respond to inquiries, process payments and account changes, and help other departments improve sales and processes.

We seek 1–2 years in customer service, excellent communication, multitasking ability, and MS Office proficiency. This full-time role requires Saturdays and offers a CAD 18.10/hour wage with potential monthly bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service or call center experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and able to learn new software.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada full-time; sponsorship not provided.
• Ability to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit).

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and complaints via phone or email with prompt solutions.
• Perform account modifications including payments and credits.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide feedback improving sales, marketing and processes.
• Review account information, document communications, and follow procedures.
• Develop knowledge of products to assist with inquiries and recommend suitable solutions.

A day in the life of a Customer Service Representative:

• Efficiently respond to and resolve customer inquiries and complaints received via inbound phone calls or emails, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
• Perform account modifications and handle requests related to payments, credits, and other account inquiries.
• Collaborate with other departments by providing insightful feedback to enhance sales, marketing, and business processes.
• Reviewing account information, documenting communications, following established procedures, and making well-informed business decisions.
• Develop a thorough knowledge of all products to effectively handle customer inquiries and provide recommendations for suitable products or services.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service or call center/contact center role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task, adapting to changes in a fast-paced environment, and working independently.
• Competency in MS Office (Word, Excel); ability to learn new software applications.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Able to pass background checks (criminal, employment, and credit).
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada on a full-time basis at the time of application; we are not able to provide sponsorship.

We are offering $18.10/hour CAD for this role, plus the opportunity to earn monthly bonuses.
