Job summary

Induspac Group in Ottawa (Stittsville) seeks a Customer Representative to support order processing and customer service at a full-time, on-site role. You will assist sales with orders, quotes, inventory checks, and billing, ensuring accurate, timely processing and strong customer relations.

You will collaborate with production planning, shipping, credit, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth operations and a superior customer experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service.
• College diploma (DEC) or certificate of studies in a relevant field.
• Intermediate level knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Suite applications.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector (knowledge of the cardboard packaging industry is an asset).
• Proficient in French, both oral and written is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assists with all facets of order processing operations.
• Assists the sales team with various requests such as entering customer orders, providing order confirmations, updating quotations, inquiries into order status, validation of inventory levels and billing preparation.
• Ensures orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner following procedures; maintains excellent relationships with customers.
• Collaborates with the team in managing operations with a view to continuous improvement.
• Participates in efforts to provide a superior customer experience in line with the company’s mission and values.
• Supports customers and processes orders from A to Z.
• Performs follow-ups with customers and team to ensure quotes, shipping instructions, and delivery status are as committed.
• Works closely with all departments to ensure fluidity of the process (production planning, reception/shipping, credit, purchases, etc.).
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Position Summary:

6. The Customer Representative is responsible for supporting customers and processing orders from A to Z.
7. In doing so, this position performs the required follow-ups with customers and the rest of the team to ensure that all requests such as sending quotes, shipping instructions and delivery status are as commited.
